World Duchenne Awareness Day 2019
If you haven’t heard of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, or don’t know much about it, we’re here to open your ears.
On World Duchenne Awareness Day 2019, we launched a very special
5-part drama series podcast to help raise awareness of this fatal condition. Too few people have even heard of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), let alone know much about the condition. So, rather than simply list symptoms and prognosis, we decided to paint a picture of what living with DMD is like for an ordinary boy.
Hear Jamal’s story and discover what life is like for a young boy living with DMD as he prepares for school exams, tries to keep up with his friends, and comes to terms with the progression of his condition.
Let us know what you think...
Your opinion matters to us, so if you have had the chance to listen to the series then please take a minute to leave us a review.
